Thank you, Sue.
Bottles of Hope
1) Tracy V. said a lot of people want to give cash donations to the BOH project,
and she asked the guild what we should do with these donations. It was decided
that the money could be used to purchase clay and supplies.
2) Tracy also asked if we should lend out the polymer clay teaching box to
nonmembers for BOH projects. The guild decided that as long as it was someone
that a guild member knew to be reliable, and that the person would leave a cash
deposit, then we could allow this. In order to get back the deposit, the person
who borrowed the box would have to bring it back on the date they had previously
agreed to do so.
3) It was suggested that a small paper briefly describing the BOH be attached to
each bottle for the recipient.
4) If anyone has suggestions for new, inspiring sayings to be included with the
BOH, please send them to Debbie or Tracy.
Officer election of the SCPCG:
All officers ran unopposed, so the new officers are:
Sharon Mihalyak - President
Debbie Goodrow - V.P.
Sue Rankin - Treasurer
Michele Raffaele – Secretary
Debbie Goodrow has written a wonderful article on the Bottles of Hope story,
which she plans to submit the National Guild's newsletter.
Raffle chain: Sharon Mihalyak has donated a print entitled "Scraps of
Time" for the raffle in January.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You
To Pat Portnoy for helping the birthing and nurturing of our original guild
website. She has decided to resign her web mistress position as she isn't able
to devote enough attention to the details that our growing website will need. We
thank you for all your time and effort, Pat! Thank you for giving us such a
great start.
