October - North Haven Library
The Traveling Exhibit will be coming to the January Guild Meeting. It is looking a little shop-worn and needs some major updating! Please contribute something new to display in the exhibit for as long as you are willing to part with it. I'm especially looking for items that will showcase how everyone's talents have developed. MINUTES FROM THE SEPTEMBER 2007 MTG OF SCPCG

Meeting called to order at @ 11:16 am
14 members in attendance.
There was no demo since the pieces for the exhibit and the beads for the bazaar had been brought in.
Additional details were discussed for the open house. Send accomplishments and rsvp's to Sharon. If you can, bring a desert to the open house. And if you have any bead strands, bring them to the Bead Bazaar so we'll have them for the exhibit.
Reminder - Send an email to Sue to request whatever you're interested in from the library and she'll bring it to the next meeting.
Lynne talked about Lisa Pavelka's Polymer Clay Cruise. It's full with 55 people and Lynne is one of the four instructors. Lynne also brought in the new Kato Color Concentrates and the Creative Canes book that she has two pieces in.
Congratulations to Tommie who took Best of Show for the Amaco Bottles of Hope competition and to Lynne who got Best Expression of Hope. More congratulations to Lynne for taking 1st place in Bead Dreams AND for taking 1st place and Best of Show in the Bead Arts competition.
