Deborah Goodrow’s fall semester at Clinton Adult Ed in Clinton, CT - Evening classes
Polymer Clay Basics
Polymer clay is easy and fun to use. With a little help you can be making your own wonderful projects. From jewelry, to home decorations, to covering pens and boxes learn it all. From basic techniques to complex caning, you’ll learn many ways to express yourself and bring home several completed objects. The instructor Debbie Goodrow is Vice President of the Southern Connecticut Polymer Clay Guild, and has been working in polymer clay for many years and enthusiastically teaches you her secrets. Artistic talent not necessary. #10 materials fee (Your choice of 5 oz of different polymer clay colors and a tissue blade, and more.) due instructor on the 1st night. Additional clay available at class. Bring any (conditioned) clay or tools you own.

Polymer Clay Advanced - Techniques and Hints
Faux techniques, image transfers, Millefiore, Molding, Caning, and Mokume Gane are just some of the possibilities for this class. What we’ll cover will be partly chosen by class members interests. Handy tips and ideas for making working with polymer clay easier and more fun will be shared. Bring home several finished items! Debbie Goodrow makes is fun and easy, from basics to advanced techniques. $10 materials fee ( your choice of 5 oz of different polymer clay colors & a tissue blade and more) due instructor the first night. Leigh Ross will be teaching a workshop in Pittsburgh on Oct 19-20.  No particulars yet, stay tuned.  Expected to be a two day workshop, 1st day making beads, 2nd day finishing up beads and making bangle bracelet.  Perhaps people could car pool and/or room pool?

--Traveling Exhibit Coordinator for 2003 - Someone to make the phone calls and arrangements for where the Library Traveling Exhibit will be shown each month in 2003. A lot of the groundwork has already been done.
