Traveling Exhibit at the West Haven Library ~ May and June
Clay Day Saturday, June 4 from 11:30am - 4:45pm
Ready to try something new?
To explore your artistic side (even if you think you don't have one)? Do you like trying new things at no cost to you? Would you like to give someone who's going through a hard time and uplift, and have fun doing it?
Polymer clay is a fun, easy to use art medium with colors for everyone. Come join us on June 4th at the West Haven Library, and get your hands into it! We will provide all the clay and tools, and some ideas; you bring your fingers. We'll teach you how you can use polymer clay to make items from sculptures to jewelry to home decorations.
We'll also be making Bottles of Hope, small former medicine bottles that we re-purpose into Bottles of Hope, which are freely distributed to anyone who is dealing with the struggles of cancer. If you too know someone who is dealing with cancer or a survivor, you are encouraged to bring your personally made Bottle of Hope to them. And, hopefully, make some for us to distribute to others.
